Whenever you're learning a new program, especially one as feature-rich as AutoCAD, you're probably going to have some questions. Fortunately, AutoCAD goes out of its way to help you find the answers you need. In this lesson, we'll explore AutoCAD's Help feature. Now, I know when I'm learning a new application, one of the first questions I have is, What does this icon do? Well, in AutoCAD if you hoover over an icon, AutoCAD will tell you what it does, if you hoover a little longer you will get even more information in the form of an extended tool tip. Take a look at the bottom of the tool tip. If I press F1 at this point AutoCAD will bring up context sensitive help through this command. Here, I'll find a command summary, as well as a walkthrough of the prop's I'll see when using the command, and a detailed description of each of the sub-options.
