Adding a perspective grid
- [Instructor] Drawing in perspective, of course, always a challenge. And establishing a vanishing point and a horizon plane and a grid is a good way to work, and many artists working from scratch tend to sketch things out so you'd sort of draw a horizon line like so and establish your vanishing points and work from there, for example, to start drawing. But that takes a little bit of time for you to do. What I'm going to do is just undo past those lines that I've created there and show you how to add a perspective grid inside of Illustrator Draw. Just as with the grid in the previous movie, this is where we go to the gear flyout at the top of the screen and about halfway down where it says Add, tap there, and this time choose Perspective rather than the grid. Although it is worth pointing out that if you made the wrong choice at any time, at the very top of the screen in the center you can actually toggle between the two types just there.
