- Let's face it, Boris is a big package. It's got 3D text capabilities, tracking functionality, and even a lens flare designer. Let's see what we have access to under it. So I'm here in my Chapter 6_2 composition, and we've done a search for BCC lens flare 3D. We want to keep in mind that this particular effect comes part of the bigger Boris Continuum Complete package, so not only are you getting lens flare, you're getting particle systems, you're getting chances to work with 3D text and build your own 3D text, and you're getting a ton of effects at your fingertips. So it's part of a big package, not just lens flares. I'm going to apply that to the clip, and its controls show up here in Effect Controls. If I look at the top, one of my favorite things about this is the Effects browser. And immediately, once I click on it, You can see that we have a ton of presets here to choose from to get us starting with designing a lens flare for our particular productions.
