- Now if you're more comfortable using a tool like Adobe Photoshop, it can also read in vector data, and handle the vector to raster conversion, as well as unlock additional options like layer styles, or gradients to quickly colorize an image. Here's how. In Photoshop, I'll choose File, New, and from the New Document chooser, Film & Video. Then, select a preset that matches your delivery format. Let's go with UHD 4K TV, and I'll click Create. Now, you can press Command + Minus or Control + Minus to zoom out, and you'll see some basic guides for safe title and action safe. These are a bit more conservative than they need to be, because they use the old standards for standard definition television. In fact, just press the Move tool and drag out the innermost guides, because you don't need those anymore, and instead you can rely upon these outer lines as a good target of where to place the logo.
