- [Voiceover] Broadband type noise is perhaps the most difficult type of noise to reduce because it's scattered all over the frequency spectrum. In this movie, we'll use Audition to capture a noise print and then reduce broadband noise as much as possible. In the final scene of this movie Castles, we have our two characters on the beach. Because of the wind and waves, there's a ton of broadband type noise scattered all over the recording. Let's take a listen. (gentle wind) - So, you got a design for me? - Yeah, think I do. - [Voiceover] Let's move this clip into the waveform view to see this in the frequency spectrum editor. Double click on that. Now, we can see it spectrally. I'll just zoom out the spectral resolution for a second using option + command + down arrow alt + control + down arrow for Windows users and you can see all that broadband noise scattered throughout the frequency spectrum.
