Hums and tonal noise repair
- [Voiceover] Continuous tonal noises can play in otherwise good audio recording. In this movie, we'll use Audition Spectral View to see our audio across the frequency spectrum, and then we'll walk through some tools we can use to reduce tonal hum-like noise from our audio. Over here I have an example where there's a siren that exists across an interview. If I double click on this, Audition will open it up into our Waveform view. Now, this is the default Waveform view. We see wave forms showing amplitude over time, and we can take a listen to this, and we'll here the siren I'm talking about. All right. Well, after spending some time at, what can only be considered the epicenter of Time Square, we walked a little bit further. We were still in the middle of the action, but -- So, we hear the siren in the background, but we don't see any visual reference when we're looking at wave forms showing amplitude over time. One thing that's awesome in Audition, and also exists in other audio apps…
