- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now where we're gonna look at dimensioning a drawing in AutoCAD LT. And as you can see, at the top of the screen there, we've got a new drawing for you. It's called MoreDimensioning.dwg and you can download that from the library to follow along with the videos in this chapter. What were going to do, we're gonna zoom in on this office area here and get it so that we've got a nice central bit of space around it as well. And the whole idea is that we're going to dimension these offices here. Now you want to make sure that you're on the right layer, which should be A-ANNO-DIMS in the Layers panel on the Home tab. And then I prefer to dimension normally from the Annotate tab on the ribbon. Now one of the nice features on the Annotate tab in the Dimensions panel is even if you haven't selected the right layer, you can use the DIM layer override to select A-ANNO-DIMS like that.
