From the course: AutoCAD LT Essential Training

Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] When you're working in your AutoCAD LT Essential Training course, there are loads of exercise files that you can use, that you can utilize to follow along with the videos in each chapter. You can download all of these from the library when you log in to use your Essential Training course. And obviously, you can download them and store them locally, perhaps on your laptop or your PC so that you know where they are. Now, as we work through each of the videos in this particular course, I'll give you guidance on which exercise file you should be using. So, for example, if you're looking at the screen at the moment, you can see that we're in the Introduction.dwg file. That's in the title bar there at the top of the screen. So if you have a quick glance at the top of the screen and just check each time when you start a new video that you're in the right exercise file that I tell you to use, you'll be absolutely fine. Now, bear in mind that these are AutoCAD DWG files for the majority of the time, and they are saved in a file format that allows you to use them with older versions of AutoCAD LT as well.
