Adding lighting fixtures
Since we are actually modelling and not drafting, I think it's time we started thinking in the Z coordinate world. We're going to add a lighting fixture and plan that we kind of know, but how do we we're not just adding that fixture on the floor? We want it up in the ceiling grid, right? The objective of this video is to add some lighting fixtures to our model, then we're going to wire up those fixtures. So to get started, let's open up our MEP Electrical Lighting Drawing. Let's make sure our display configuration is set for electrical lighting. It made some changes to our model. Let's zoom in and see what it did. What it did was, it turned on a and a few other items. I'm going to zoom back out. Let's go to our tool palate. Let's go to the top tab, Power Lighting Devices. Also, if you can't see you Powers Lighting Device tab, you can go ahead and right-click on the tabs right here, and it shows every tab, even the ones you can't see.
