Sheet sets overview

- [Instructor] Sheet sets are useful ways of managing multiple drawings and layouts that make up a project. A single project, like a new high-rise or an office building usually contains or requires multiple individual DWG files each containing multiple layouts or pages. For example, you may have one DWG file that is for framing and plans that may have 10 different layouts in it. Then, you may have a separate DWG file for elevations and sections, and that DWG file may contain five layouts. You may have other DWG files for mechanical, electrical, site plans, or other disciplines. Each of these files may have layout tabs that make up the final completed drawing package, that may number it to 30 to 40 individual pages when printed. Sheet sets allow us to index all of these individual and disparate DWG files with their multiple layouts using single management tool.
