Draw windows and built-ins in 2D
- [Instructor] In this video, we are going to add the windows and built-ins in the floor plan. Let's start by adding the vanity here in the bathroom. The dimensions are 22 in depth and 50 in width. Let's use the rectangle tool which you can access up here on the toolbar or press R. Click this upper right-hand corner of the rectangle and then move the cursor over in this direction. Then type in 50, comma, 22, enter. The comma separates the width from the depth measurements and the rectangle will be created in the direction that you moved the mouse previously. Next, let's work on the window which is just behind the toilet. The sketch says it's 59 inches over from the wall. So I'll press the space bar to go to the select tool and then select this line right here. Press M for move, click a point to start moving that line, press the option key on the Mac or the control key in Windows to move into copy mode, and then type 59, enter.
