- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Jeff. - [Instructor] And I'm Nick. Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. - [Jeff] This week, I want to talk about storyboarding. Nick, for me, pound for pound, something that just makes pre-production better, smarter, and makes the on-set production edit easier, is storyboarding. - [Nick] And you can do this all within Final Cut Pro X, with a handy little generator. - [Jeff] Yeah, it's kind of funny that it's hidden. So it's called the placeholder, and we're going to go ahead here and we're going to talk about the placeholder generator. - [Nick] We're also going to talk about changing the placeholder attributes, and what we can really do to highlight what's about to come up in a scene. - [Jeff] And then just as a neat little trick, if somebody's not facing the right way, and you'll see that, we can use the flip effect to kind of flip somebody in a shot-reverse shot situation. - [Nick] Yeah, so like, in a dialogue scene, we can totally reverse the direction of which…
