    This course explains the basics of Git, and is suitable for developers who haven't used it before. It covers the concepts of distributed version control, how to download and install Git on several platforms, and how to do the basics of Git: adding files, commiting them, and reviewing commits. The course does not cover merging or edit conflicts in any great detail, so learners who desire those skills will need to supplement this course with additional training.
