Removing fringing

Removing fringing

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to remove fringing along high contrast edges with just one click. When you shoot a photo like this in bright light, and you have high contrast edges, like the edges between the sticks and the sky, it's a good idea to zoom in and check for fringing. And when we do, you can see there's a magenta and green fringe along the edge of this stick. To fix that, tap the Optics panel, look for the Remove CA command, and then just tap the switch to the right of Remove CA. CA stands for chromatic aberration, but it really just means fringing. Keep your eye on the photo as I tap that switch. And right away, the fringing is minimized. So that's all there is to it. Using the remove chromatic aberration switch to remove fringing in Lightroom on mobile.
