Shoot: The best skyline view in London
- Located on the River Thames, right across from Big Ben, the Millennium Eye Ferris Wheel towers over historic London along the south bank. A trip around the giant wheel offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. And that's great for tourists. But if you're looking to create a beautiful dusk skyline shot of London, it's almost impossible to guarantee you'll be atop the Millennium Eye when the light is perfect, as the wheel moves all of the time. Add to that the fact that the ride is timed to 30 minutes, with only seven or eight of those minutes positioning you at or near the top. Fortunately there's a better venue for getting a killer skyline shot of London. Tonight, we're heading to the top of the city's tallest building to do just that. The Shard, as the glass enclosed skyscraper is known, sits atop the London bridge Underground station, so it cannot be easier to get to. After you exit the train, simply follow the signs for the view from the Shard. And it will quickly follow…
