Adding a parallel light
A parallel light is a lot like a bank of Kino Flos. It's a strip light that contains multiple bulbs and points in one direction. Instead of being a spotlight or something that's very narrow in focus, it tends to be more broad, covering a larger area. All right, let's take a look here at our castle scene. And we'll switch to 2 Views for a moment. Now, I'll select Layer, New, and add a light. And in this case, we'll go with that parallel light and adjust the color to be a little bit closer to the sun. Little bit of gold here. When I click OK, it's going to add that light into the scene. If we look closely, you'll actually notice the light in the scene itself. Let's take a look here. And we'll hold down the Spacebar to move. And there's that light. I can actually grab the light and start to move it. In this case, I'm going to move the light around a little bit, and point it. And you see it's like the sun's rays…
