Hanging punctuation and bullets
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'd like to address two issues relating to alignment. The first is hanging punctuation. For this quote, I would like the quote mark to extend beyond the left edge of the text and for the type to align underneath the C. So I need to come to my Layers panel, make sure I'm on the appropriate layer, come to my Paragraph panel from the panel menu choose Roman hanging punctuation. My next issue is how to create a bullet list. And this one is a lot more work. You might say that Photoshop is not the place to be creating a bullet list, and I would agree with you. But, if you have to, for whatever reason, then this is the workaround. And I say workaround because a bullet list with a hanging indent with the bullets hanging to the left of the text is created typically using tabs and tab stops. While I can insert a tab in Photoshop, I cannot set the position of the tab stop. So what I'm going to do instead is just type a space after the bullet, then come to my…
