- [Instructor] On the exam, you may see the need for an offset surface. It's not going to really be a whole question on offset surface, but more, you might need to use an offset surface to solve one of the parts of a question. So to do an offset surface, it's pretty straight-forward. So just click up here under the surfaces toolbar right up here, and then come up here to offset surface, which is right there. And my parameters, right over here, I can just choose which one of the faces I'd like to offset, if you want. Or you can choose the entire surface. And notice down here, you can also do the offset distance, and you can switch the direction. I do want to point out, also, you can make that zero. If I can say, let's just make it zero, and notice, it actually changes it to copy surface. As soon as you change that, so I'll change back to ten, right, and now it says offset surface. If you make it zero, it says copy…
