- [Instructor] Schematics are electrical drawings that contain additional circuit information related to the functions of the electrical project. These are probably the most commonly used drawing type in our electrical projects. And so just the same if I want to add a schematic drawing, I can jump over to my document book. I can right click and go to New and Cover page, wiring line diagram, and the scheme option will be to insert my schematic sheet. Now again I have a new document added to my document list here, page 04. Again of course I can right click and jump into Properties if I'd like and rename this. So I just go into description and I'll say schematic and say okay. And now this again looks very similar to our line diagram, but you might note the tab has slightly changed. It used to say line diagram. Now that I'm in a schematic sheet, it has changed to a schematic tab. Again this holds pretty much all of the tools and commands we'll be using within our schematic sheets. So one…
