Simulation options - SOLIDWORKS Tutorial
From the course: SOLIDWORKS: SimulationXpress
Simulation options
- [Male Instructor] When you first get started with SimulationXpress we're going to have a few option we need to go through. Let's go ahead up here to the Evaluate toolbar. Click on that one there. Come all the way over here to SimulationExpress and go ahead and fire that up. You can see here we've got a little welcome screen. This little wizard pops up which is going to ask us some questions. The first thing I want to do is click on the options tab. Here it is; click on options. I want to choose what my unit system is. Depending on where you are in the world or how your brain thinks, I happen to think in English so I'm going to go ahead and choose that one. But it's up to you. You have the option of where you'd like to save the results or let SOLIDWORKS store them at. I'm going to just go ahead and choose the default location which is fine. You can also have this thing show annotation of max and min on the results plot. I don't really like to do that. But if you like to you're free…
