- [Narrator] Hi, I'm George Maestri, and today we're going to take a look at how to create a spiral staircase in SketchUp. Now, this is going to be a spiral concrete staircase, but you can use the same techniques for creating any type of spiral stair. So, let's go ahead and get started. Now, the first thing I need to do is figure out how big my staircase is, and then draw a shape. So, I'm going to make my staircase, say, 12 feet in diameter, and then have four-foot-wide steps. So, I want to make 24 steps up to the top. So, I'm going to go ahead and start with a polygon, and then I want to make sure I type in 24 sides, because that's how many steps I want. Then, I'm going to click at the origin and drag this out. And let's go ahead and make this 12 feet. And then, we're going to create an inner radius of eight feet, because that would leave four for the steps. Now, I'm going to go ahead and select the center here and go ahead and delete that. And what we want to do is create 24…
