Importing 3D models
- [Instructor] So far, we have looked at how to work on models that either come with ZBrush or are already saved in ZBrush format, but very often, you'll need to bring in models from other sources. Let's see how ZBrush 2020 makes this even easier. Okay, so we have a very simple scene right here, just a plane and a cylinder, and let's say we want to import another model. Now, before we go ahead and click on Import, there's one thing we need to note, and that is when you import a model that's not a ZBrush format, what it does is it replaces the selected SubTool that you have. So make you've got your SubTool SubPalette open, and you'll want to come down to Duplicate so that when we bring in this new model it's going to replace the selected one. Now, if you don't care about the cylinder, then you can go ahead and have the new model overwrite this one, but let's say you care about it, so let's overwrite the duplicate. So…
