- [Instructor] There will be times when you're creating a drawing where you'll want to highlight a specific region, maybe create an enlarged view of that area. This is where the detailed view comes in. If we go up to view layout. Click on detailed view, we can start this process. Now, typically, when you create a detailed view, you start with a circular sketch and define the area you want to zoom in on. So, I'm going to zoom in in the middle here of all these hole patterns. So, I'm going to start right here. Left mouse button click to give me my center point of my circle and just drag out. I'm going to click again to stop the creation of the circle and show the extent of the detailed view. You can see automatically it's created the detailed view and zoomed in quite a bit, so.
