The instructor walk-talk the command that it is being type as if he is talking to retarded people. It is obvious what the command will look like just by typing it. I consider this highly annoying. Adding to this pet peeves is when an instructor bring a subject as introduction but then, they will explain it later. Then, why introduce the subject now? Keep the examples basic and introduce the subject later on when it will be covered. I noticed this behavior on instructors with old teaching methodology.
